Self-confidence boost!
The year has only just begun and it feels like everyone is already turning away again? A super exercise to stay with yourself and on itself vertrauen☝️
But what does that actually mean? Self-confidence means trusting that I'm taking care of myself, making smart decisions, and keeping my own promises. #ownit
Because no matter what happens then in the "outside", you can count on yourself! The ultimate boost for your self-confidence is when you make a promise to yourself and then keep it. Of course, I'm not just writing this, I tested it for a while. My promise was: I will walk 10k steps every day after work this month and take a cold shower afterwards. (With the gas prices double motivation ;). No sooner said than done and massively boosted confidence by showing myself that I can rely on myself.
😊 Clearly doubts arose, clearly I have considered in the weather and the darkness just to stay inside, but I've made up my mind and not negotiated with my inner pig dog. That's because I've already stumbled into my project gym. And since I'm really not a gym fan, this was the compromise! I run, I'm out in the fresh air, I see my surroundings and 10k is a pretty good workout too! Make a promise to yourself, maybe a very small one, follow through and reap the rewards of your labor 🌈
For example: I will go to bed before 10 p.m. for the next 3 days. I will read 10 pages of the book every day for the next 5 days. I will drink a big glass of water every day on an empty stomach. And here are a few more concrete actions you can do to boost your confidence:
-
book that course or workshop you've been wanting to do all along. #humancapital
-
move enough to show your body that it matters to you, so it's there for you too.
-
set healthy boundaries by telling other people, for example, that wasn't cool just now.
-
unfollow people who make you feel bad all the time or who you compare yourself to.
Forgive yourself for mistakes, carelessness and ignorance. You know better now.
-
make yourself a priority. If you don't, who should?
-
write the mail, the Whatsapp, make the call and say what you always wanted to say.
Let's do this!
